THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE IMPACT: AIDF VOLUNTEERS
📅 Event
Behind every successful humanitarian programme is a team of people who choose to serve.
The **Mother & Child Blood Drive 2026 and AIDF Tanzania First Anniversary Humanitarian Impact Programme** would not have been possible without the commitment, time and dedication of the **AIDF Tanzania volunteer community**.
Across the three-day programme, AIDF volunteers worked alongside healthcare professionals, partners and community stakeholders in supporting **community mobilisation, donor engagement, health awareness, coordination, registration, logistics and programme delivery**.
Their contribution formed an essential bridge between the humanitarian agenda and the communities we seek to serve.
From **Buliaga Grounds, Temeke**, to the **Executive Blood Drive Grand Finale at Dar es Salaam Serena Hotel**, our volunteers demonstrated what happens when people give their time, skills and energy in service of others.
Their work contributed to a campaign that mobilised **110 units of blood**, delivered **free health screening and health education**, and brought together leaders and institutions around a shared commitment to **maternal and child health**.
But beyond the numbers is something even more important: **a community of people willing to serve without expecting anything in return.**
To every AIDF volunteer who planned, mobilised, coordinated, communicated, supported, welcomed, guided, documented and served:
**We see you.
We value you.
We recognise you.**
Your service is part of AIDF Tanzania's humanitarian impact.
As we enter our next chapter, we remain committed to strengthening a volunteer community that is **skilled, inclusive, accountable, empowered and ready to serve communities with dignity and professionalism.**
**Volunteers are not behind the work.
They are part of the work.
They are part of the impact.**
**Thank you for choosing to serve.**
