Beyond blood donation, the programme delivered free health screening, health education and community engagement while bringing together volunteers, healthcare professionals, institutions, private-sector partners, government representatives, diplomatic missions and other stakeholders.
The three-day campaign demonstrated the value of bringing different sectors together around a common humanitarian objective.
