The Africa Initiative Development Foundation (AIDF Tanzania) recognizes the important contribution of BBC Swahili in connecting audiences across Tanzania, Africa and the wider Swahili-speaking world with credible information, diverse perspectives and stories that matter to communities.
Throughout AIDF Tanzania’s first year of humanitarian and community impact, BBC Swahili has provided an important platform for public dialogue, awareness and the amplification of issues affecting communities, including health, voluntary blood donation, social development and humanitarian action.
