220 CHILDREN. ONE TABLE. A SHARED SENSE OF BELONGING.
📰 Featured Story
On 24 August 2026, 220 children with special needs from Government-registered care centers came together in Dar es Salaam for a moment built around something fundamental: the right to belong.
Around one table, children shared a meal, laughter, friendship and moments of connection. They were given space not only to receive, but to participate, express themselves and share the abilities within them.
For many children living in vulnerable circumstances, inclusion is not simply about access to services. It is about being seen, respected, heard and valued as part of the community.
One Table • One Heart • No One Left Behind sought to create exactly that space.
The engagement brought together children, caregivers, volunteers and partner institutions in a shared experience that placed dignity before difference and humanity before circumstance.
This is the kind of community action that reminds us that development is ultimately about people—and that no child should be defined by vulnerability when there is so much ability, potential and possibility within them.
220 children. One shared experience. One powerful reminder: every child belongs.
