📰 Featured Story
AIDF Tanzania is pleased to recognise Hellen Arthur Kiwia as the Foundation’s official representative at the 12th Conference of the Parties to the Nairobi Convention (COP12), taking place from 6–9 October 2026 at the Julius Nyerere International Convention Centre (JNICC), Dar es Salaam.
Her participation reflects AIDF Tanzania’s commitment to creating meaningful opportunities for volunteers to develop their leadership capacity, strengthen professional experience, engage with diverse stakeholders and contribute to development conversations at national, regional and international levels.
At AIDF Tanzania, volunteering is regarded as a pathway to service, learning, leadership and meaningful community impact. Through active engagement and demonstrated commitment, volunteers can progressively be entrusted with greater institutional responsibilities and opportunities to represent the Foundation.
Hellen’s participation at COP12 therefore represents not only an institutional assignment, but also the broader potential of AIDF Tanzania’s volunteer community to grow, lead and contribute to development.
AIDF Tanzania believes that when volunteers are given opportunity, responsibility and trust, they can become powerful bridges between institutions and communities.
